As a writer, producer and actor, Tom Arnold has established himself with both television and film audiences worldwide, having won such awards as the Peabody Award for writing, a Golden Globe for Writing and Producing, and two Cable Ace nominations for Comedy Writing, Arnold starred in Universal's "McHale's Navy," based on the comedic television series from the 1950's and 60's. The film, which he also produced, was released in April 1997 and also starred David Grier, French Stewart ("Third Rock From The Sun") and Ernest Borgnine. Other films include Paul Scrader's "Touch" with Bridget Fonda and Skeet Ulrich; "Nine Months" with Hugh Grant and Julianne Moore, and "True Lies" with Arnold Schwarzenager, in which he made his film debut.
