George Lopez is one of the premier comedic talents in the entertainment industry today. He is the co-creator, writer, producer and star of the ABC network and Warner Brothers Television produced sitcom, "George Lopez." The show is a hit with critics and viewers--winning its time-slot in the demographic ratings each week. "George Lopez" is executive produced by Bruce Helford ("The Drew Carey Show," "Roseanne") and movie-star Sandra Bullock. The show has already been renewed for its second full season. Lopez, a multi-faceted talent who performs on stage, film and television, has earned kudos for his performance in the HBO Films drama, "Real Women Have Curves," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to tremendous reviews--receiving the 2002 Audience Award. Previously, Lopez was featured in the acclaimed drama "Bread and Roses." The film, directed by British filmmaker Ken Loach and released by Lion's Gate, received critical acclaim after its premier at the Cannes Film Festival. George also appeared in the Showtime film, "Fidel," and the comedy "Frank McKluskey, C.I." for Disney. His numerous Television credits include appearances on "The Tonight Show," "Good Morning America," "The View," "Live with Regis and Kelly," "Craig Kilborn" and "Resurrection Boulevard." George frequently hosts Univision's "Loco Comedy Jam." Lopez also hosted major morning radio for Clear Channel Communications in Los Angeles. He was the first Latino to have headlined the keystone morning radio slot on an English-language station in LA--the nation's top radio market. Maintaining an extremely active schedule as a stand-up comedian, George has sold out virtually every top comedy club in the nation and headlined concerts at such prestigious venues as the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, the Shoreline Amphitheater in San Francisco, the Majestic Theatre in Dallas and San Antonio, the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, and the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, CO. He will embark on his 30 city "Team Leader" tour in May, culminating with two nights at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles in October. George's CD "Right Now Right Now" (Oglio Records/Warner Brothers) is currently enjoying great critical and public acceptance. His new CD, "Team Leader" will be released in June.
