Grant Turner does story telling with intelligence and humor – and does it well. Grant Turner has a unique style of facially manic, observational and perceptive humor. Grant Turner's smooth, story-telling style, punctuated by his optimistic and hilarious parodies of Southern characters, brings down the house.
Grant Turner's first audition was during his lunch hour at an amateur competition in a pizza parlor in Atlanta. An interview with one of Atlanta's top entertainment weeklies quoted him as saying that he would "like to pursue comedy full-time someday." Someday was that day; Turner was fired. Within six months, however, Turner was an opening act in Atlanta's brand new "Punchline", winning the Great Southeastern Laff-Off. California beckoned and Turner headed west to pursue his dream.
Grant has appeared on A&E's "Improv Tonight" and "Evening at the Improv," NBC's "Friday Night Videos" and "Comedy On The Road."
