Kev Orkian is one of the UKs most talented,
up-and-coming comedians a highly skilled pianist, singer and actor, Kev
combines his unique off-beat humour with extraordinary performances on the piano
(think Victor Borge, Dudley Moore, Victoria Wood).
Kev started his training at the age of four, learning to play the piano. After
competing in many competitions and concerts, he decided to complete his training
and move on to performing arts.
After completing a national diploma in acting and music, Kev Orkian made his
West End debut in Fame, at the Victoria Palace. His career led to many other
roles in numerous musicals and plays including, Grease, Buddy Holly, Happy Days,
Boogie Nights and Me & My Girl, to name a few. He has been involved with
numerous variety shows, including gala events for the Duke of Kent, Prince of
Oman, Margaret Thatcher, Dame Vera Lynn and various members of the Royal family.
Prior to appearing in musicals, Kev was a principal dancer with the
Russian/Armenian dance troupe, as well as being guest MC for Five Decades of
Love. Kev Orkian is also a consummate pianist having performed classical
repertoire at the Victoria Palace, Wembley Conference Centre and Kensington
Palace.
Kev is seen regularly appearing for the BFF (British Forces Foundation), touring
army and navy bases around the world, entertaining the British and American
Forces. He has recently returned from an international tour performing his
one-man piano comedy show to sell-out audiences in cities including New York,
Sydney, Dubai, Montreal and Toronto. He recently hosted LAs own AMA awards at
the famous Kodak Theatre.
Kev also tours the cruise ships with his Stow Away act drawing up rave reviews
with numerous cruise companies and is hugely in demand for corporate
after-dinner cabaret and private events.
As an committed charity worker, Kev has raised thousands of pounds for different
charities, including the Willow Charity for Bob Wilson, Safe hands for David
Seaman, NSPCC, Armenian Orphans, BFF, various Childrens hospice, Glendale
Medical Association USA and the Bobby Moore Fund, to name but a few.
