Records debut album, "They're All Gonna Laugh at You!", Adam Sandler broke sales records with one of the best-selling comedy albums in the history of the label. Now, with his latest release What The Hell Happened To Me?, Sandler is poised to break his own personal best with an inspired collection of skits, songs and explicit scatology. Adam Sandler was born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in Manchester, New Hampshire. His first brush with comedy was at age 17 when his brother encouraged him to go on stage spontaneously at a Boston comedy club. Until then, comedy had never entered his mind as a profession, but after his first appearance, he was hooked. He later attended New York University, earning a degree in Fine Arts. While still in college, he continued to perform regularly in comedy clubs and universities throughout New York and shortly thereafter landed a coveted spot as part of the Saturday Night Live cast, first appearing in the 1990/91 season. With SNL for five years, as both a writer and performer, Sandler gained national recognition creating a host of unique characters including "Cajun Man," "Opera Man," "Canteen Boy," "Herlihy Boy" and "the host of the 'Denise Show.'" He also performed memorable impersonations of Axle Rose and Eddie Vedder, and did guest spots on the popular "Weekend Update." Sandler's film career kicked into high gear, starting with his appearance in Coneheads, followed by co-starring roles in Airheads and Mixed Nuts. Sandler starred in Universal's Billy Madison, a box office smash that Sandler co-wrote. Sandler also starred in his second Universal comedy, Happy Gilmore, as well as the action/comedy Bulletproof, with co-star with Damon Wayons. Meanwhile Sandler has become the hottest ticket on the comedy circuit, with a fervent fan base that sells out venues across the country. A sampling of audience enthusiasm for the comic can be heard on the live "The Chanukah Song" in which screaming fans almost drown out his performance. Now comes What The Hell Happened To Me?, an album that introduces a host of new Sandler characters while continuing to maintain the element of complete, and completely hilarious, originality.
