Brian Evans is a new crooner in the style of Frank Sinatra, but with a more modern twist. His latest album, recorded in London, features remakes of the Van Halen classic "Jump", but to a 65 piece big band.
Born in Haverhill, Masachusetts, Brian Evans began his career as an actor in LA, moving there from Masachusetts at age 16. After various roles on shows such as "Beverly Hills 90210" and "Full House", Brian Evans took his passion for the crooner style to Canada, where he performed to accolades nationally before debuting at The Desert Inn in Las Vegas.
Brian Evans has now performed thousands of shows around the world, and as the opening act for Jay Leno at his Las Vegas concerts, and for Dione Warwick, Lou Rawls, Franki Valli, Social Distortion, Better Than Ezra, Citizen Cope, Crossfade and a host of others.
Brian Evans has been written about worldwide, from People Magazine, USA Today, to Knight Ridder national news articles and Grammy Magazine, who most recently named Evans among Norah Jones as one of the new relevant crooners of our time. Brian Evans best sums up his life in this simple statement:
"It's about the ride. I've had a lot of mileage in my life in a short time, and I have always marched to the beat of my own drum. My ups have been great, my downs were mostly caused by myself, but you live and learn. If you haven't lived these songs, you don't have any business singing them."
Brian Evans can be available as a corporate entertainer for your corporate or private event.
