Steve was born in Hong Kong where he displayed his talents on the piano

Although he took some lessons as a child, it wasn't until Steve was thirteen when he immigrated
to the United States that he decided to take music seriously and began vigorous classical training.
Steve later attended and graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California School of Music.
At USC, Steve studied piano performance, composition, and jazz improvisation
with some of the finest musicians in the world.
But unlike many of his classmates, who wanted to excel in the classical or jazz world,
Steve's passion has always been exploiting his classical roots to interpret popular songs.
Steve's memorized repertoire includes over 1500-plus songs from nearly all forms and genres of popular music.
In addition to his exceptional musicianship, Steve charms his audiences with his unique sense of humor
and delightful rapport.
This explains why Steve has developed the reputation as a new wave of the finest pop pianist in America.

Steve began his professional career at the age of seventeen
when he was the youngest pianist ever to be hired to perform at various Nordstrom stores.
Since then, Steve has earned every dollar he has ever earned through tickling the ivories.
Currently Steve serves as the featured pianist at the ultra-lux
Montage Resort and Spa in Laguna Beach, California, where he performs daily.
Furthermore, Steve has developed into a prolific recording artist with nine solo piano CDs to his credit.
In addition, he has also recorded for such notable companies such as PianoDisc, Inc.,
the world's premier maker of automated piano player system and software, and First Impression Music, Inc.,
a renowned audiophile label specializing in high definition recordings.
