There hasn't been an artist who has captured the essence and
soul of an American like Bruce Springsteen. Such a high profile public image can
only be reproduced by an official native of Freehold. Josh Schreiber is the New
Jersey grown, incarnate of the Boss himself. Josh and his explosive band Thunder
Road, delivers an authentic re-enactment of a Bruce Springsteen concert that
only a few hard core Bruce fans have ever seen and will never see him perform
again. The band Thunder Road has the look and sound of the Jersey shore. Band
members originate from Freehold and Asbury Park NJ, and New York City.
The Band Thunder Road will take you back in time to 1975, just after the release
of Born To Run. A time when the romantic lyrics of songs like Jungle Land and
Thunder Road would take you by your soul and elevate you to a place that you
believed in. Remember that one hot summer night when you knew that all of your
hopes and dreams could come true, when you could escape from reality and get
caught up in the eloquence of his piano and poetic imagery. That image was
painted by the Rock 'n' Roll rhythms and arrangements of the E Street Band. From
the dynamic Lost In The Flood, to the LIVE favorite Rosalita and the heart felt
New York City Serenade.
Josh Schreiber grew up in Freehold New Jersey, the home of Bruce Springsteen.
Bruce’s powerful spirit is alive in this fellow Freehold native who will keep
the fire burning.
See how this Rock n Roll hall of fame legend began. Josh Schreiber and Thunder
Roads' tribute to the Boss showcasing the early years of his career, is an
experience you won't want to miss. Close your eyes and you will hear Bruce, open
your eyes and you will see the twenty-six year old Springsteen that few people
had the opportunity to witness. There is only one Bruce Springsteen, but even
die hard fans will be convinced that they've seen another.
