The high-energy music of trick fiddle player TIM WATSON has been heard from stages around the world. His musical career has grown from performances in clubs near his hometown of Black Creek, Alabama, to appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and venues in Germany, France, England and Holland. Tim has worked with many of today’s superstars, including Tammy Wynett, Randy Travis, George Strait, Ricky Skaggs, The Judds, Conway Twitty and Louise Mandrell.
In 1985, following two years on the road as a soloist with “The First Lady of Country Music,” Tammy Wynette, Tim became a featured performer at Opryland Show Park. According to guest surveys, his show has been rated #1 by guests for over 6 seasons. Tim has also become a favorite with corporate convention audiences throughout the country. Following a three day sales meeting in Nashville, Kimberly-Clark Corporation ordered 750 cassette tapes for their entire sales force and then flew him to Orlando on their corporate jet the following year.
Tim has performed for many fairs and festivals receiving standing ovations from the audience. He has performed recently for the Florida Strawberry Festival, Eastern States Exhibition, North Florida Fair and Sarasota County Fair. All performances were for 3-8 day runs.
Tim has been featured on “The Today Show,” “CBS This Morning,” “Prime Time Country,” “Nashville Now,” and “Hee Haw”.
The combination of Tim’s energetic fiddle, comedy timing, strong tenor voice and contagious smile make him a welcome addition to any event.
