Jim Sterne has spent over 15 years in sales and marketing of technical products. His unique brand of consulting focuses on product positioning and product presentation. Mr. Sterne began his career helping people understand Visicalc at a time when 'personal computer' was an oxymoron. He successfully described sales order processing systems to people using hand-cranked tabulators. He was at the forefront of the Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tool revolution and has clarified the salient points of object-oriented programming. For the past two years Mr. Sterne has devoted all of his attention to the Internet as a marketing medium. He has gathered information at conferences, in on-line discussion groups and from his own experience as a founding partner of a regional Internet access provider. One year to the day the National Center Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) released the first public version of its graphical World Wide Web for browser, Mosaic, Target Marketing launched the "Marketing on the Internet" seminar series. Sterne stays active in a consulting capacity, helping each client set Internet marketing goals and determine strategies. He offers unique creativity in on-line corporate presence design with an eye toward engaging the viewer. Sterne has been a fixture at Internet World Conferences in the past, frequently presenting his insight on Website design to large crowds and rave reviews.
