John Salley

John Salley is a 10-year NBA veteran with three championship rings to his credit- two with the Detroit Pistons and one with the Chicago Bulls. John played college ball with Georgia Tech from 1982-86. His playing number, 22, is retired and hanging in the Alexander Memorial Coliseum. He still holds the school's record for shot blocking. He played with the Detroit Pistons from 1986-92, winning back-to-back World Championships in 1989 and 1990; played with the Miami Heat for three seasons; played 25 games as an expansion draft pick of the Toronto Raptors; and was signed by the Chicago Bulls in February 1996, where he stayed for the rest of the year, winning his third championship ring in the process.
