Mal Z. Lawrence, who had audiences gasping for breath between laughs when he starred in Catskills on Broadway, has officially been bitten by the acting bug! First he co-starred in the Hal Prince musical The Petrified Prince. Then he starred in the musical revue Bagels & Yox" and soon after, played "Val" the Russian head writer in Neil Simon's Laughter on the 23rd Floor. He went on to appear in the musical revue I'll Take Manhattan, and made his acting debut on TV on Law and Order.
