Mark Katz

Mark Katz is a humorist who can trace his career from the principal's office to the Oval Office. He is the founder and resident scholar of the, Sound Bite Institute, a one-man think tank for creative and humor writing projects. Since 1993, he has served as creative consultant to the Democratic National Committee, primarily responsible for assisting President Clinton with his annual humorous speeches to the Alfalfa Club, White House Correspondents' Dinner and Gridiron Club. He has also written frequently for Vice President Gore, as well as numerous CE0'S and VIP's. Mark first came to public attention in 1988 when he wrote sound bites and one-liners for the Dukakis campaign, securing his place in history as the person who made Mike Dukakis so funny. He is a recovering advertising copywriter with a variety of political and communication strategy experiences.
