Ronna Lichtenberg is President of Clear Peak Communications, a management-consulting firm that helps leaders and their teams drive profitability through the development of key business relationships. For major financial services companies, Clear Peak has focused on retail marketing to High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients, with emphasis on building practical systems that make it easier for a firm's representatives to do business in a way that enhances their own and the company's profitability. Typical projects include repositioning brands post-merger, organizational redesign, and the development of a flexible, compliant, cost-effective framework for marketing and collateral materials. Prior to founding Clear Peak in 1996, Ronna was a Senior Vice President with Prudential Securities, Inc., the investment and brokerage firm. As head of Marketing, she developed new markets and new products, and was named the first woman in the firm's history to its top management group, the Operating Council. She also directed the firm's communications during a $200 million dollar product crisis, personally defending the company in a Mike Wallace 60 Minutes interview. In her 17-year career with Prudential, Ronna assumed steadily increasing responsibilities for the company, which at that time was a $10 billion organization with more than 200 subsidiaries. While heading up strategic planning, reporting directly to the Chairman, Ronna lead the development of the firm's retail strategy and was the only non-Executive Office member to participate in management evaluations of specific business units and their strategies. Ronna is a nationally recognized business author and lecturer, who helps individuals develop business relationships that support their career goals. Ronna has frequently been seen as a business expert on major morning network and cable television shows and in national print. She is a contributing editor for "O", the Oprah magazine, covering work and career issues. In her speeches, Ms. Lichtenberg draws upon her 20-year corporate background and her AMP degree from Harvard to address any work-related issue--from strategic career development to defining new market strategies. Ms. Lichtenberg leads her popular Investing in Me, Inc. seminars, which teach attendees to use an entrepreneurial business model for planning and managing their own careers. In addition, she also leads Toot Your Own Horn seminars to help women learn how to sell themselves and their ideas.
