Steve Allen, Jr., MD delights thousands of business, industry
and health care people each year with his lighthearted and energizing look at
Coping in a Changing World. Steve focuses on Humor and Playfulness as our most
important tools for Survival, at work and at home.
Now cleverly distinguished as Coordinator, Introduction to Clinical Medicine
Course, at the College of Medicine of the State University of New York, Health
Science Center in Syracuse, New York, Steve juggles his role as a medical school
instructor and administrator with his role as a much sought after public
speaker. Steve has also volunteered at the Zuni Indian Reservation in New Mexico
as a family doctor and laughter consultant (at Zuni, clowns are considered
healers too.)
His ability to laugh at himself combined with his expertise as a Board Certified
Family Physician makes Steve a busy conference and dinner speaker. His fresh,
meaningful and above all enjoyable look at life, health and happiness brings
smiles and laughter to such varied audiences as managers, health care
professionals, CEO’s, secretaries, factory, financial, and sales folks, even
Nobel Prize winners. He’s great for the general public as well. And yes, there
is the echo of his comedy heritage in the characteristic Steve Allen laugh
(accurately described as a cackle in his Dad’s press releases.)
More than hear a funny lecture, Steve’s audiences actually get into the act as
he invites everyone to explore the 3-year-old playful person inside each of us.
His approach to CREATIVE SILLINESS helps everyone to actually experience the
value of laughter and play in their own hearts while Steve offers his matchless
approach to life and work.
