Marilyn McCoo

Born in Jersey City, NJ, McCoo was a featured singer with the Fifth Dimension in the '60s, doing smooth pop music. In 1976 she and husband Billy Davis, Jr. split the group to form a duo and had three hit albums (two for ABC Records and one for CBS). By 1981 McCoo went solo, hosting the syndicated Solid Gold music series.
