Brian Evans

Brian Evans was born in Haverhill, Massachusetts in 1970. Brian began his career in television commercials, pitching products such as TWIX Candy Bars and McDonalds Big Mac's. He then stepped up to guest starring on such popular TV shows as "Full House," "Beverly Hills, 90210," and co-starred in 1991's "Book of Love" for New Line Cinema, which was New Line CEO Bob Shaye's first director outing. Brian played "Schank" in the film, and the appeared in the TV remake of the old Disney film, "The Barefoot Executive" with Jay Mohr. Also doing stand-up comedy at the age of 18, he began opening the show for singers Franki Valli and Dionne Warwick. In 1994, he even wrote an autobiography entitled "Dreamer" (Helion Audion Books). In 1996 he moved to Canada to release a "crooner album," which he believed would be a style of music nobody would pay attention to. He went to Canada, because he felt that if it bombed, it would go unnoticed in California. It became the #1 selling independent release in the country, garnering him acclaim in every national radio and publication in the country. In Canada, he appeared on the CBC, Open Mike with Mike Bullard, Gabereau Live, and so on. He was also featured in Macleans Magazine. In his career, he's appeared on The Howard Stern Show twice, People Magazine, USA Today, and every teen magazine ever published. In 1998, after a successful run in Canada and another "crooner" album in the style of Sinatra, Bennett, and Martin, Evans debuted at The Desert Inn in Las Vegas, and made history there as the only entertainer ever to play the venue to record and commercially release a CD "Live at The Desert Inn." He also performed at The MGM Grand Hotel, and The Tropicana. After nearly 500 show in Las Vegas, Evans moved to Key West, Florida. The fun began there at a new and exciting level. Evans formed "The Key West Celebrity Series," and each month has a superstar guest star appear with him on stage. Debuting with Las Vegas Legend Wayne Newton, the concert series has taken off. Guests ranging from Newton to William Shatner appear, with stars ranging from Dionne Warwick to Elton John readying to appear for a few numbers with the crooner. Shatner himself refers to Evans as "The Crooner". Evans has now recorded 14 albums, enjoys success in Asia, Canada, and recently released an album in China entitled "The Best of Brian Evans."
