The The Calling were assembled in Los Angeles, CA, when Alex Band and Aaron Kamin were just teenagers. In the late nineties, the Calling had evolved and added Sean Woolstenhulme on guitar, Billy Mohler on bass, and Nate Wood on drums. Together, they concocted their own mission -- keeping the power ballad alive in this alterna-this and rap-that electronic age. Their 2001 RCA debut, Camino Palmero, was a huge success on the strength of the hits, "Wherever You Will Go" and "Adrienne." In 2003, the Calling contributed to the soundtrack for Daredevil.
