In six short years, David Martin's House Party has become one of the most respected and sought after party orchestras in the Northwest. Why? Because David Martin's House Party is one of those rare performing groups that love the music they play and care about their audiences. The songs you hear are interpreted with all the heart, soul, energy and fun that was intended to be there! The smiles are instantly infectious wherever David Martin's House Party plays. David Martin is a veteran performer/recording artist based in the Bay Area for the past 15 years. He is known for his powerful vocals and searing guitar work. He founded two very successful bands; THE LLOYDS and BUZZTONES, and has played with numerous other artists, including the zany STUPEDS (Society To Undertake the Preservation of Endangered Dumb Songs). Over the years, David has headlined or played most of the Bay Area's major venues; from the CATALYST in Santa Cruz to the COTATI CABARET in Coati to the COW PALACE in San Francisco. With over 350 songs on their play list, David Martin's House Party has the rare ability to play a variety of 60's through 90's material. Additionally, the orchestra can play light Jazz and standards when the engagement requires! The musicianship in David Martin's House Party is exceptional; with members of the group having played formerly with THE STEVE MILLER BAND, ROBERT CLAY, TODD RUNDGREN, LINDA RONSTADT, EDDIE MONEY, CHRIS ISAAK, MARTY BALIN, ELVIN BISHOP, MICKEY THOMAS, STONEGROUND, DEL SHANNON, THE COASTERS and many others. in addition to the band and their wonderful flexability and talent, David Martin's House Party has DANCERS available to fit any venue.
