During the 5-year show, Burke went through a much publicized weight gain that became the subject of conversation across the country. She founded an apparel company, Delta Burke Design, providing "real size ladies" with apparel choices that allow them to express their individuality. Burke travels extensively to meet with and provide inspiration to her admirers, helping to make their dreams come true.
