Halloween, 1980 began the journey of Jack Mack and the Heart Attack, a group that has garnered popular and critical acclaim, whether playing to European audiences of 30-thousand plus or at countless U.S. concerts, clubs and parties. Described as "extraordinary musicians and dynamic performers," they have consistently played the high-energy R&B music they love. This has produced a continually growing, loyal following and a band with an unmistakable sound. Their unique ability to recreate R&B classics, while adding their signature to these songs has set them apart, and is what initially propelled the band into the Hollywood scene. As they refined their sound, Jack Mack original tunes closely followed, which opened the door for their first recording, CARDIAC PARTY (produced by Glenn Frey of the Eagles), followed later by JACK IT UP. Bolstered by commissions for film and television soundtracks, numerous personal television appearances and countless roof-raising performances, Jack Mack continued to tighten their act. Original Jack Mack members John Paruolo (keyboards), Andrew Kastner (guitars), and Bill Bergman (saxophone) have sought out the best musicians available to add to their distinctive sound. Joining the founding members are: bassist/vocalist Tim Scott, who has toured with Tower of Power and performed with Eric Clapton and Stevie Wonder, and drummer Kevin Cloud, who has recorded and performed with Rhythm Syndicate, the Cranberries and the Byron Allen Show house band. Rounding out the band are trumpeter Les Lovitt, who has recorded with Woody Herman, Brian Setzer and Herbie Hancock, touring with Herman and Setzer. Vocalist Terrell "TC' Moses has written and produced songs for Freddie Jackson and has performed with Sheena Easton and Mikki Howard. Although trends in music have continually shifted, the Jack Mack focus has prevailed, their music remaining true to American Rhythm & Blues. Now, retooled with new members, Jack Mack and the Heart Attack are poised for their next move forward-- a new recording and more groove-'til-you-sweat, dance-'til-you-drop performances.
