Jason Alexander starred in 180 episodes (over nine seasons) of the wildly popular sitcom, "Seinfeld," portraying the hapless schlep, George Costanza, making the neurotic, devious, unscrupulous character one of the more memorable in television series history. The crowning glory of a 20-year acting career, the role earned Alexander six Emmy and four Golden Globe nominations, an American television and two American Comedy Awards as Best Supporting Actor, and a Best Actor honor (despite the supporting role status) from the Screen Actors Guild. He also directed several segments, collecting a D.G.A. nomination in 1993.
