First there was Laugh In, then there was Hee Haw and then there was Sha Na Na. What do they all have in common?

All were classic modern day musical, comedy, variety, guest television shows. 97 episodes of the Sha Na Na show ran between 1977 and 1981 during family viewing time and the reruns were usually aired at noon on Saturdays and considered an extension of the morning cartoons.

The Sha Na Na show can really be considered a "live cartoon" or an era that was fun, silly, light-hearted and innocent. The show continues to be seen worldwide. Sha Na Na is more than an act - more than a musical group. They present a live stage revue with musical stories of boy meets girl, lost love, romance, dancing at the hop and just good old clean fun.

The group travels with 187 pieces of costuming and props and is more like a traveling book show.

Sha Na Na has been rockin' and rollin' since the late 1960s. You've seen them in their own syndicated television series and in the hit movie "Grease." You've probably even seen them live on stage.
