Simon Woodroffe is the founder of YO! Sushi and YO! Everything Else. After 30 years in the entertainment business producing shows for the likes of Rod Stewart and Ozzy Osbourne, Simon started YO! Sushi five years ago and so laid the seeds of a brand that has been called the new Virgin. YO! Sushi has sixteen restaurants in the UK and two franchise deals signed overseas with more to follow. YO! To Go is a licensed to Sainsburys. YO! Japan - a clothing line just launched in Carnaby Street and 70 retail stores across the UK and a soon to open branch in Italy . YOTEL! - Simon's much talked about cross between British Airways First Class and Japanese capsule hotel looks set to open 2004. A Spa concept for YO! is in development. Simon is a former Catey winner Group Restaurateur of the Year (2000) and Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year (1999) as well as winning over 20 awards for his businesses. He is a part of the CBI Ambassador for Entrepreneurship program and advises governments Small Business Service and Enterprise Insight and NFTE (Nifty) supporting entrepreneurship in schools. The Book of YO! has been an International business best seller and a new book and training video is slated for 2003.
