The Umbilical Brothers were formed in 1996 by two young Australian comedians, writers/performers David Collins and Shane Dandes. The duo quickly gained international recognition and phenomenal success with high profile performance both on major television networks and comedy festivals world-wide. Their highly original performances are a unique blend of comedy, teamwork, physical skill and vocal ingenuity that can only be described as a high octane mix of tightly choreographed mayhem, mime and live audio-acrobatics. In addition to performing individual vignettes or a full 45-60 minute after dinner headline show, the Umbilical are perfect as host/performers for awards ceremonies, general sessions, industrial videos and selected trade shows. Their appeal is remarkably broad, and they are a natural fit for international audiences.
